[[new testament:interlinear:John20-1|1]] The first [(<color blue><del>//day//</del></color>)] of the week comes Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, to the sepulchre, and sees the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-2|2]] Then she runs, and comes to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-3|3]] Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-4|4]] So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-5|5]] And he stooping down, [(<color blue><del>//and looking in//</del></color>)], saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-6|6]] Then comes Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and sees the linen clothes lie,
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-7|7]] And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-8|8]] Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-9|9]] For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

[[new testament:interlinear:John20-11|11]] But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, [(<color blue><del>//and looked//</del></color>)] into the sepulchre,
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-12|12]] And sees two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

[[new testament:interlinear:John20-15|15]] Jesus said to her, Woman, why weeps you? whom seeks you? She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, Sir, if you have borne him hence, tell me where you hast laid him, and I will take him away.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-16|16]] Jesus said to her, Mary. She turned herself, and said to him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-17|17]] Jesus said to her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say to them, I ascend to my Father, and your Father; and [(<color blue><del>//to//</del></color>)] my God, and your God.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-18|18]] Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and [(<color blue><del>//that//</del></color>)] he had spoken these things to her.

[[new testament:interlinear:John20-24|24]] But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-25|25]] The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-26|26]] And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: [(<color blue><del>//then//</del></color>)] came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace [(<color blue><del>//be//</del></color>)] to you.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-27|27]] Then said he to Thomas, Reach hither your finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither your hand, and thrust [(<color blue><del>//it//</del></color>)] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

[[new testament:interlinear:John20-29|29]] Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you hast seen me, you hast believed: blessed [(<color blue><del>//are//</del></color>)] they that have not seen, and [(<color blue><del>//yet//</del></color>)] have believed.
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-30|30]] And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
[[new testament:interlinear:John20-31|31]] But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through his name.
