Jam 1:1 ιακωβος θεου και κυριου ιησου χριστου δουλος ταις δωδεκα φυλαις ταις εν τη διασπορα χαιρειν STR

1 Yacob, a slave of God and Proprietor Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes, to the ones in the diaspora (thoroughly seeded), to be rejoicing. CAS

1 James a servant of God and Lord Jesus Christ to the twelve tribes, be rejoicing in the dispersion CAV

Jam 1:2 πασαν χαραν ἡγησασθε αδελφοι μου ὁταν πειρασμοις περιπεσητε ποικιλοις STR

2 My brothers, command every joy whenever you should be falling around complicated temptations; CAS

2 O my brothers count everything a joy whenever you should be falling among manifold temptations CAV

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations;KJV


Jam 1:3 γινωσκοντες ὁτι το δοκιμιον ὑμων της πιστεως κατεργαζεται ὑπομονην STR

3 Knowing that the examination of your confidence is counter-energising endurance. CAS

3 knowing that the trial of your faith is working endurance CAV

3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience.KJV


Jam 1:4 ἡ δε ὑπομονη εργον τελειον εχετω ἱνα ητε τελειοι και ὁλοκληροι εν μηδενι λειπομενοι STR

4 Now the endurance must be possessing a perfect (mature) energy so that you should be perfect (mature) and a whole-inheritor (sole-inheritor) among ones lacking an actual consideration. CAS

4 now the endurance must be having a perfect work so that you should be perfect and entire ones being wanting in nothing CAV

4 But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.KJV


Jam 1:5 ει δε τις ὑμων λειπεται σοφιας αιτειτω παρα του διδοντος θεου πασιν ἁπλως και μη ονειδιζοντος και δοθησεται αυτω STR

5 But if anyone of you is lacking wisdom, he must be asking beside God, the one distributing absolutely to everyone. And, shall he actually be distributing, and reproaching (embarrassing) him? CAS

5 now if anyone of you is wanting wisdom he must be asking beside God the one giving liberally to everyone and not reproaching and it shall be given to him CAV

5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him.KJV


Jam 1:6 αιτειτω δε εν πιστει μηδεν διακρινομενος ὁ γαρ διακρινομενος εοικεν κλυδωνι θαλασσης ανεμιζομενω και ῥιπιζομενω STR

6 But he must be asking in confidence(faithful). (You) actually, consider being separated? Because, the one being separated has been likened to one being winded and blown with a wave of a sea. CAS

6 now he must be asking in faithfulness not being judged because the one being judged is like to one being driven with a wave of a sea and being tossed CAV

6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.KJV


Jam 1:7 μη γαρ οιεσθω ὁ ανθρωπος εκεινος ὁτι ληψεται τι παρα του κυριου STR

7 Because, must that human be actually thinking that he shall be receiving anything besides the Proprietor? CAS

7 because no man must be supposing that he shall be receiving anything beside the Lord CAV

7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.KJV


Jam 1:8 ανηρ διψυχος ακαταστατος εν πασαις ταις ὁδοις αυτου STR

8 A bi-souled human stands in opposition in everyone of his ways. CAS

8 a double-minded man unstable in to all his ways CAV

8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.KJV


Jam 1:9 καυχασθω δε ὁ αδελφος ὁ ταπεινος εν τω ὑψει αυτου STR

9 Now the humble brother must be boasting in his height: CAS

9 now the low brother he must be glorying in his hight CAV

9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:KJV


Jam 1:10 ὁ δε πλουσιος εν τη ταπεινωσει αυτου ὁτι ὡς ανθος χορτου παρελευσεται STR

10 But the rich one in his humility. Because, as a flower of a pasture he shall be liberated away. CAS

10 now the rich one in his lowness because as a flower of grass he shall be passing CAV

10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.KJV


Jam 1:11 ανετειλεν γαρ ὁ ἡλιος συν τω καυσωνι και εξηρανεν τον χορτον και το ανθος αυτου εξεπεσεν και ἡ ευπρεπεια του προσωπου αυτου απωλετο οὑτως και ὁ πλουσιος εν ταις πορειαις αυτου μαρανθησεται STR

11 For the sun rises up together with the burning heat and the pasture and its flower falls away and the good appearance of its face was destroyed (re-grained) and thus the rich one shall be faded in his travels. CAS

11 because the sun rises together with a burning heat and it withers the grass and the flower it falls away and the grace of its face destroyed and thus the rich one in his journeys shall be faded CAV

11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withers the grass, and the flower thereof falls, and the grace of the fashion of it perishes: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.KJV


Jam 1:12 μακαριος ανηρ ὁς ὑπομενει πειρασμον ὁτι δοκιμος γενομενος ληψεται τον στεφανον της ζωης ὁν επηγγειλατο ὁ κυριος τοις αγαπωσιν αυτον STR

12 Who (is) a happy man? He is enduring temptation, because on being developed approved(certified, qualified) he shall be taking the wreath(crown) of life which the Proprietor promises the ones loving him. CAS

12 a blessed man who is enduring temptation because (the) one becoming approved he shall be receiving the crown of life which the Lord promises to the ones loving him CAV

12 Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.KJV


Jam 1:13 μηδεις πειραζομενος λεγετω ὁτι απο του θεου πειραζομαι ὁ γαρ θεος απειραστος εστιν κακων πειραζει δε αυτος ουδενα STR

13 On being tempted, must one actually consider stating that I am being tempted by God? Because God is un-tempted by evil. Now, do not consider 'he' is tempting. CAS

13 no one being tempted must be saying that I am being tempted by God because God is not tempted of evil now he is tempting no one CAV

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man:KJV


Jam 1:14 ἑκαστος δε πειραζεται ὑπο της ιδιας επιθυμιας εξελκομενος και δελεαζομενος STR

14 Now each (person) is being tempted, on being drawn out, and on being lured under, by a private (considered) high-desire. CAS

14 now each (man) is being tempted by a private lust, one being drawn and being enticed CAV

14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.KJV


Jam 1:15 ειτα ἡ επιθυμια συλλαβουσα τικτει ἁμαρτιαν ἡ δε ἁμαρτια αποτελεσθεισα αποκυει θανατον STR

15 There upon, the high-desire on taking-together (solidifying), is birthing offence, now the offence on being perfected, afterwards conceives death. CAS

15 then the lust on conceiving it delivers offence then offence on being finished is bring forth death CAV

15 Then when lust hath conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.KJV


Jam 1:16 μη πλανασθε αδελφοι μου αγαπητοι STR

16 My beloved brothers must you actually be planetised? CAS

16 0 beloved o brothers you must not be deceived CAV

16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.KJV


Jam 1:17 πασα δοσις αγαθη και παν δωρημα τελειον ανωθεν εστιν καταβαινον απο του πατρος των φωτων παρ ὡ ουκ ενι παραλλαγη η τροπης αποσκιασμα STR

17 Every good presentation and every perfect present is housed, descending from above from the 'Father of the lights' besides whom is no other, or a turning after-shade. CAS

17 every good gift and every perfect gift is descending from above from beside the Father of Lights in whom no variableness or shadow of turning CAV

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.KJV


Jam 1:18 βουληθεις απεκυησεν ἡμας λογω αληθειας εις το ειναι ἡμας απαρχην τινα των αυτου κτισματων STR

18 On counselling, he re-conceives us with a 'statement of truth' for us to be the re-exemplars of a measure of his creatures. CAS

18 on advising he begets us with a word of truth for us to be the first-fruit of anyone of his of creatures CAV

18 Of his own will parented he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first-fruits of his creatures.KJV


Jam 1:19 ωστε αδελφοι μου αγαπητοι εστω πας ανθρωπος ταχυς εις το ακουσαι βραδυς εις το λαλησαι βραδυς εις οργην STR

19 As such my beloved brothers every man must be swift to hear, slow to talk, slow to vengeance. CAS

19 as such my beloved o brothers every man must be swift to hear slow to speak slow wrath CAV

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:KJV


Jam 1:20 οργη γαρ ανδρος δικαιοσυνην θεου ου κατεργαζεται STR

20 Because God's justice is not, energising an opposition (adversity) by a man's vengeance. CAS

20 because a man's wrath is not working God's justice CAV

20 For the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God.KJV


Jam 1:21 διο αποθεμενοι πασαν ῥυπαριαν και περισσειαν κακιας εν πραϋτητι δεξασθε τον εμφυτον λογον τον δυναμενον σωσαι τας ψυχας ὑμων STR

21 Therefore, on replacing every filthiness and excessive evil, you must handle in meekness the implanted statement, the one powerful to save your souls. CAS

21 therefore laying away every filthiness and abundance of evil you must receive in meekness the engrafted word the one being able to save your souls CAV

21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.KJV


Jam 1:22 γινεσθε δε ποιηται λογου και μη μονον ακροαται παραλογιζομενοι ἑαυτους STR

22 Now, must you be developing producers of a statement, and actual hearers only, stating(standing) besides themselves? CAS

22 now you must be becoming word doers and not only hearers deceiving yourselves CAV

22 But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.KJV


Jam 1:23 ὁτι ει τις ακροατης λογου εστιν και ου ποιητης οὑτος εοικεν ανδρι κατανοουντι το προσωπον της γενεσεως αυτου εν εσοπτρω STR

23 Because, what if he is a hearer of a statement and not a producer? This one has (been) likened to a man minding(thinking) against his face developing in a glass CAS

23 because if anyone is a word hearer and not a doer this one (is) likened to a man considering the face his of generation in a glass CAV

23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like to a man beholding his natural face in a glass:KJV


Jam 1:24 κατενοησεν γαρ ἑαυτον και απεληλυθεν και ευθεως επελαθετο ὁποιος ην STR

24 For he minds(thinks) against himself after he has liberty and graciously forgot what-sort it was. CAS

24 because he considers himself and has gone and immediately he forgot what it was CAV

24 For he beholds himself, and goes his way, and straightway forgets what manner of man he was.KJV


Jam 1:25 ὁ δε παρακυψας εις νομον τελειον τον της ελευθεριας και παραμεινας οὑτος ουκ ακροατης επιλησμονης γενομενος αλλα ποιητης εργου οὑτος μακαριος εν τη ποιησει αυτου εσται STR

25 Now the one un-bending alongside the perfect law of liberty and remaining beside (it), this one, is not developing into a forgetful hearer. On the other hand, a producer of energy, this one shall be happy among his produce. CAS

25 Yet the one looking down into the perfect law of liberty and continuing this one coming (is) not a forgetful hearer nevertheless a doer of work this one shall be blessed in his deed CAV

25 But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.KJV


Jam 1:26 ει τις δοκει θρησκος ειναι εν ὑμιν μη χαλιναγωγων γλωσσαν αυτου αλλ απατων καρδιαν αυτου τουτου ματαιος ἡ θρησκεια STR

26 If anyone among you is approving to actually be religious on bridling his tongue, on the other hand, cheating his heart, the religion of this one - empty. CAS

26 if anyone among you is thinking to be coming religious on not bridling his tongue. Nevertheless, on deceiving his heart, this religion (is) vain CAV

26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridles not his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is vain.KJV


Jam 1:27 θρησκεια καθαρα και αμιαντος παρα τω θεω και πατρι αὑτη εστιν επισκεπτεσθαι ορφανους και χηρας εν τη θλιψει αυτων ασπιλον ἑαυτον τηρειν απο του κοσμου STR

27 Clean and unpolluted religion beside God and the Father is this, to be reflecting upon orphans and widows in their friction/heat, to be protecting himself un-circled by the cosmos. CAS

27 pure religion and undefiled beside God and the Father is this to be visiting comfortless and widows in their tribulation to be keeping himself unspotted from the world CAV

27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.KJV
