Jam 5:1 αγε νυν οἱ πλουσιοι κλαυσατε ολολυζοντες επι ταις ταλαιπωριαις ὑμων ταις επερχομεναις STR

1 Now rich-ones, must you be leading the howling-ones? You must weep over your coming hardships. CAS

1 now the rich ones you must be leading you must weep howling upon your coming miseries CAV

1 Go to now, [(you)] rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.KJV


Jam 5:2 ὁ πλουτος ὑμων σεσηπεν και τα ἱματια ὑμων σητοβρωτα γεγονεν STR

2 Your riches has rotted and your clothing has develop moth-bites. CAS

2 your riches has corrupted and your garments he has become moth eaten CAV

Jam 5:3 ὁ χρυσος ὑμων και ὁ αργυρος κατιωται και ὁ ιος αυτων εις μαρτυριον ὑμιν εσται και φαγεται τας σαρκας ὑμων ὡς πυρ εθησαυρισατε εν εσχαταις ἡμεραις STR

3 Your gold and silver has been poisoned and their venom shall be housed a witness for you and it shall be eating your flesh like a fire treasuring within last days. CAS

Jam 5:4 ιδου ὁ μισθος των εργατων των αμησαντων τας χωρας ὑμων ὁ απεστερημενος αφ ὑμων κραζει και αἱ βοαι των θερισαντων εις τα ωτα κυριου σαβαωθ εισεληλυθασιν STR

4 You must be considering, the wage of the workers, the ones mowing your areas after having been confiscated by you: (The) crazes and the shouts of the ones reaping, they have entered into the ears of a 'proprietor of Sabaoth.' CAS

4 you must be beholding the wage of the labourers the ones reaping your regions the one having been defrauded by you he is crying and the cries of the ones reaping have entered into the ears of Lord Sabaoth CAV

4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, cries: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.KJV


Jam 5:5 ετρυφησατε επι της γης και εσπαταλησατε εθρεψατε τας καρδιας ὑμων ὡς εν ἡμερα σφαγης STR

5 You luxuriate and you indulge upon the earth, you nourish your hearts as within a day of slaughter. CAS

5 you live in pleasure and you (are) wanton upon the earth you nourish your hearts as in a day of slaughter CAV

5 You have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; you have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.KJV


Jam 5:6 κατεδικασατε εφονευσατε τον δικαιον ουκ αντιτασσεται ὑμιν STR

6 You judged aggressively, you killed the just-one; he is not resisting you. CAS

6 you condemn, you murder the justice -one he is (resisting not) you CAV

6 You have condemned [(and)] killed the just; [(and)] he doth not resist you.KJV


Jam 5:7 μακροθυμησατε ουν αδελφοι ἑως της παρουσιας του κυριου ιδου ὁ γεωργος εκδεχεται τον τιμιον καρπον της γης μακροθυμων επ αυτω ἑως αν λαβη ὑετον πρωϊμον και οψιμον STR

7 Therefore brothers, you must reflect long until the presence of the Proprietor. You must consider, the earth-worker is proving out the valuable fruit of the earth on reflecting long on it, until ever he should be taking an early and a later rain. CAS

7 o brothers therefore you must suffer long until the of presence of the Lord You must be beholding the husbandman he is awaiting the precious fruit of the land one long suffering upon him until (ever he) should be receiving early and latter rain CAV

7 Be patient therefore, brethren, to the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.KJV


Jam 5:8 μακροθυμησατε και ὑμεις στηριξατε τας καρδιας ὑμων ὁτι ἡ παρουσια του κυριου ηγγικεν STR

8 You must reflect long and you must steady your hearts because the presence of the Proprietor has neared. CAS

8 you must suffer long and you must stablish your hearts because the presence of the Lord has neared CAV

8 Be you also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws nigh.KJV


Jam 5:9 μη στεναζετε κατ αλληλων αδελφοι ἱνα μη κατακριθητε ιδου κριτης προ των θυρων ἑστηκεν STR

9 Brothers, must you be actually groaning against one another so that you should actually be aggressively criticised: You must consider, a critic was standing before the doors. CAS

9 you must be (groaning not) against one another o brothers so that you should be (condemned not) you must be beholding judge he was standing before of doors they have stood CAV

9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest you be condemned: behold, the judge stands before the door.KJV


Jam 5:10 ὑποδειγμα λαβετε της κακοπαθειας αδελφοι μου και της μακροθυμιας τους προφητας οἱ ελαλησαν τω ονοματι κυριου STR

10 My brothers. you must be taking the prophets who talked for the Proprietor's name, an example of the distress and of patience. CAS

10 0 o brothers example you be must receiving the prophets they speak of the affliction and the long suffering for the Lord's name CAV

10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.KJV


Jam 5:11 ιδου μακαριζομεν τους ὑπομενοντας την ὑπομονην ιωβ ηκουσατε και το τελος κυριου ειδετε ὁτι πολυσπλαγχνος εστιν ὁ κυριος και οικτιρμων STR

11 You must be considering, the ones enduring. You heard the endurance of Job and you considered the Proprietor's perfection because the Proprietor is very compassionate and pitiful CAS

11 you must be beholding we are blessing the ones enduring you hear the endurance of Job and you saw the Lord's end because The Lord is very pitiful and merciful CAV

11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.KJV


Jam 5:12 προ παντων δε αδελφοι μου μη ομνυετε μητε τον ουρανον μητε την γην μητε αλλον τινα ὁρκον ητω δε ὑμων το ναι ναι και το ου ου ἱνα μη εις ὑποκρισιν πεσητε STR

12 But my brothers before everything must you be swearing by the actual heaven, by the actual earth, by any other actual oath? But, your yea, must be yea. And, the no, no. So then, should you be actually falling into sub-crisis? CAS

12 Then my brothers before everything you must not be swearing, neither at the heaven, neither at the earth, neither any other oath. Now, your yea, it must be the yea. And, no, the no, so that you should not be falling into hypocrisy. CAV

12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and [(your)] nay, nay; lest you fall into condemnation.KJV


Jam 5:13 κακοπαθει τις εν ὑμιν προσευχεσθω ευθυμει τις ψαλλετω STR

13 Anyone distressing among you, he must be praying. Anyone feeling well, he must be psalming. CAS

13 anyone suffering affliction among you he must be praying anyone is merry he must be singing CAV

13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.KJV


Jam 5:14 ασθενει τις εν ὑμιν προσκαλεσασθω τους πρεσβυτερους της εκκλησιας και προσευξασθωσαν επ αυτον αλειψαντες αυτον ελαιω εν τω ονοματι του κυριου STR

14 Anyone is weak among you, he must call towards the elders of the church, and they must pray upon him anointing, him with olive oil in the name of the Proprietor. CAS

14 anyone weakening among you he must call the elders of the church and they must pray on him anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord CAV

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:KJV


Jam 5:15 και ἡ ευχη της πιστεως σωσει τον καμνοντα και εγερει αυτον ὁ κυριος καν ἁμαρτιας η πεποιηκως αφεθησεται αυτω STR

15 And the vow of the confident shall be saving the wearying being, and the Proprietor shall be lifting him, and if ever the one having produced offences it shall be forgiven for him. CAS

15 and the vow of the faith shall be saving the one fainting and the Lord he shall be raising him and if he should have done offences it shall be forgiven for him CAV

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.KJV


Jam 5:16 εξομολογεισθε αλληλοις τα παραπτωματα και ευχεσθε ὑπερ αλληλων ὁπως ιαθητε πολυ ισχυει δεησις δικαιου ενεργουμενη STR

16 You must be outwardly co-stating side-fallings with one another and you must be vowing-well by one another over how you should be healed. A petition being energised by a just-one is strengthening many/citizens. CAS

16 you must be confessing to one another the trespasses and you must be vowing over one another how so you should be healed much working prayer of a justice is strengthening CAV

16 Confess [(your)] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.KJV


Jam 5:17 ηλιας ανθρωπος ην ὁμοιοπαθης ἡμιν και προσευχη προσηυξατο του μη βρεξαι και ουκ εβρεξεν επι της γης ενιαυτους τρεις και μηνας ἑξ STR

17 Elias was a homeopathic man for us and he vows well with a prayer for actually rain and it rains not upon the earth three years and six months CAS

17 Elias was a man passioned-like us and he prays the prayer to rain not and it rains not upon the earth three years and six months CAV

17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.KJV


Jam 5:18 και παλιν προσηυξατο και ὁ ουρανος ὑετον εδωκεν και ἡ γη εβλαστησεν τον καρπον αυτης STR

18 And struggling he vows well and the heaven distributes rain and the earth sprouts her fruit. CAS

18 and again he prays and the heaven it gives rain and the land it brings forth its fruit CAV

18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.KJV


Jam 5:19 αδελφοι εαν τις εν ὑμιν πλανηθη απο της αληθειας και επιστρεψη τις αυτον STR

19 Brothers if ever anyone among you should be planetised from the truth and should anyone be returning him; CAS

19 o brothers if ever anyone among you should be deceived from the truth and anyone should be turning him CAV

19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;KJV


Jam 5:20 γινωσκετω ὁτι ὁ επιστρεψας ἁμαρτωλον εκ πλανης ὁδου αυτου σωσει ψυχην εκ θανατου και καλυψει πληθος ἁμαρτιων ιακωβου επιστολη καθολικη STR

20 He must be knowing him, because the one returning a offender out of a chart of a planet he shall be saving a soul out of death and he shall be covering a multitude of offences. CAS

20 he must be knowing that the one turning an offender out of an error of his way he shall be saving a soul out of death and he shall be covering a multitude of offences CAV

20 Let him know, that he which converts the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.KJV
