Mat 19:1 Καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἐτέλεσεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς τοὺς λόγους τούτους μετῆρεν ἀπὸ τῆς Γαλιλαίας καὶ ἦλθεν εἰς τὰ ὅρια τῆς Ἰουδαίας πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου

1 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;

3 The Pharisees also came to him, tempting him, and saying to him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

8 He said to them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

9 And I say to you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, commits adultery: and whoso marries her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Mat 19:9 now I am saying to you that who ever should be releasing his wife not over fornication and should be marrying another is adultering and the one marrying the one having been released is adultering

Mat 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

10 His disciples say to him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.

11 But he said to them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.

12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

Mat 19:12 for they are Eunuchs who were begotten thus out of mother's belly and they are Eunuchs who they Eunuched under men and they are Eunuchs who they Eunuched themselves through the kingdom of the heavens the one enabled to be departing he must be departing

13 Then were there brought to him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come to me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

16 And, behold, one came and said to him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said to him, Why calls you me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if you wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18 He said to him, Which? Jesus said, You shalt do no murder, You shalt not commit adultery, You shalt not steal, You shalt not bear false witness,

Mat 19:18 He is saying to him what now Jesus said you shall be killing not you shall be adultering not you shall be stealing not you shall be false witnessing not

Mat 19:19 Τίμα τὸν πατέρα σου καὶ τὴν μητέρα, καί, Ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν

19 Honour your father and your mother: and, You shalt love your neighbour as thyself.

Mat 19:20 λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ νεανίσκος· Πάντα ταῦτα ἐφυλαξάμην ἐκ νεότητός μου· τί ἔτι ὑστερῶ

20 The young man said to him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

Mat 19:21 ἔφη αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς Εἰ θέλεις τέλειος εἶναι ὕπαγε πώλησόν σου τὰ ὑπάρχοντα καὶ δὸς πτωχοῖς καὶ ἕξεις θησαυρὸν ἐν οὐρανῷ καὶ δεῦρο ἀκολούθει μοι

21 Jesus said to him, If you wilt be perfect, go and sell that you hast, and give to the poor, and you shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Mat 19:21 Jesus said to him if you are willing to be perfect you must be going you must sell your goods and you must be giving the to poor and you shall be having treasure into heaven and you must come you must be following me

Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Mat 19:22 ἀκούσας δὲ ὁ νεανίσκος τὸν λόγον ἀπῆλθεν λυπούμενος· ἦν γὰρ ἔχων κτήματα πολλά

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

23 Then said Jesus to his disciples, Verily I say to you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 19:24 πάλιν δὲ λέγω ὑμῖν εὐκοπώτερόν ἐστιν κάμηλον διὰ τρυπήματος ῥαφίδος διελθεῖν ἢ πλούσιον εἰς τὴν βασιλείαν τοῦ θεοῦ εἰσελθεῖν

24 And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

26 But Jesus beheld them, and said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

27 Then answered Peter and said to him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed you; what shall we have therefore?

28 And Jesus said to them, Verily I say to you, That you which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Mat 19:28 now Jesus he said to them I am saying amen to you that you the ones following me in the regeneration when ever the son of man should be sitting upon the throne of his glory you shall be sitting upon twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel

Mat 19:29 καὶ πᾶς ὅς ἀφῆκεν οἰκίας ἢ ἀδελφοὺς ἢ ἀδελφὰς ἢ πατέρα ἢ μητέρα ἢ γυναῖκά ἢ τέκνα ἢ ἀγροὺς ἕνεκεν τοῦ ὀνόματός μου ἑκατονταπλασίονα λήψεται καὶ ζωὴν αἰώνιον κληρονομήσει

29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Mat 19:29 and everyone who leaves/forgives houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields after my name because he shall be receiving hundredfold and shall be inheriting eternal life

30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
